At Sam Smith Performance Car Care Center, we not only want to help you with your maintenance and repairs, but we also want to educate you on proper car care. We proudly offer digital vehicle inspections at our shop, which allow our trained technicians to be fully transparent when it comes to diagnosing your car and recommending the right services.
What Is a Digital Inspection
A digital vehicle inspection allows you to be in the know at every point throughout the inspection. Our unique software enables our technicians to capture photos and videos of your vehicle while we perform the inspection. It’s the closest you can get without being right under the hood with our mechanics.
What to Expect with a Digital Inspection
Throughout the assessment, we can send content straight to your personal device for immediate updates and feedback. You are able to visually see any pain points that your car may have and better understand what repairs are recommended and why. Rather than trusting our word, you can make your own judgment with the evidence in your hands. Plus, you have the flexibility to approve or deny the suggested services on the spot.

How long does a digital inspection take versus a regular one?
A digital inspection takes about the same time as a traditional one, since the difference is in how the findings are documented, not in how the vehicle is checked.
Your technician photographs and notes issues as they go, so the extra step is capturing evidence rather than adding hours. Our hours are Mon-Fri: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM | Sat-Sun: Closed, so reach out to Sam Smith Performance Car Care Center and we'll get your inspection scheduled.
Is a digital inspection as thorough as a hands-on one?
Yes, a digital inspection is a full hands-on inspection, the "digital" part simply refers to how the results are recorded and shared with you.
Your technician still physically checks the vehicle, and the photos and video document what they find rather than replacing the actual work. The trustworthy
team at Sam Smith Performance Car Care Center performs the same complete inspection you'd expect, with the added benefit of showing you exactly what we see.
What happens if I don't approve a recommended repair?
Nothing is done without your go-ahead, so if you choose not to approve a repair, we simply note it and move on, no pressure.
We'll let you know if anything affects your safety or could worsen if left alone, but the decision and the timing are always yours. Call Sam Smith Performance Car Care Center at (404) 220-8335 with any questions and we'll help you prioritize what matters most for your vehicle.
